3. Exclusions and Limitations of Warranty
The following exclusions and limitations clarify cases where the warranty does not apply, ensuring transparency for customers and defining essential requirements for eligibility.
3.1 General Exclusions
The warranty, whether legal or contractual, does not apply in the following cases:
- Damage caused by accidental events, negligence, or improper use of the product;
- Use of the product under conditions not specified in the user manual;
- Unauthorized alterations or modifications;
- Damage resulting from maintenance or repair performed by unqualified technicians;
- Use of non-original or incompatible consumables;
- Failure to perform routine maintenance operations.
3.2 Limitations for Spare Parts and Consumables
- Consumables: The warranty covers defects of conformity present at delivery. It does not cover:
- Depletion due to normal or intensive use;
- Damage caused by improper use or non-compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions;
- Defects caused by unsuitable environmental conditions (e.g., humidity, excessive heat).
- Spare Parts: The warranty covers only conformity defects detectable at the time of installation carried out in accordance with the supplier’s instructions.
3.3 Exclusions for Printheads
The warranty for printheads does not apply if:
- Installation was not performed by qualified technicians;
- The device does not use original inks;
- Specific reports requested by the manufacturer (before and after installation) were not produced using official tools.
4. Warranty Handling Procedures
This section outlines the steps for requesting warranty assistance, detailing methods and deadlines for defect reporting and technical verification of products.
4.1 Reporting the Defect
To request warranty assistance, the customer must:
- Submit a written communication within the specified deadlines:
- Consumers: 2 months from discovering the defect;
- Professionals: Within 8 days of discovering the defect;
- Spare Parts and Consumables: Within 2 working days from delivery.
- Provide a detailed description of the defect and, if requested, photographic documentation.
- Attach a copy of the proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).
- For printheads: Attach the technical documentation and reports requested.
4.2 Product Examination
The product will be inspected by technical personnel or the manufacturer. If the defect is not related to a conformity issue, diagnosis and repair costs will be charged to the customer.
